Executive Jet Management (EJM), a Berkshire Hathaway company and a leader in aircraft management and worldwide jet charter services since 1977, seeks a highly skilled and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Gulfstream G600 based in Boca Raton, Florida (KBCT). This Part 91 operation supports a family with a long history of aircraft ownership, offering a rewarding opportunity within a stable and prestigious organization. The position is part of a three-pilot crew rotation, ensuring a favorable work-life balance.

Purpose of the Position:

The PIC is ultimately responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. This includes adherence to all company and regulatory requirements, while consistently delivering an exceptional service experience to the aircraft owners and passengers. The primary flight operations are domestic, with limited international travel (one or two trips annually). While the schedule is not fixed, the three-pilot rotation allows for a predictable and comfortable work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

This encompasses flight planning, performance calculations, weight and balance management, and utilization of Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to mitigate operational risks. The role requires meticulous adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), coordination with company personnel, and acting as the Ground and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy. Pre-flight inspections, recording of discrepancies, and monitoring of ground servicing (fueling, oil, oxygen) are also key responsibilities. Conducting passenger briefings, delivering exceptional customer service, and accommodating the specific needs of passengers (including those with disabilities) are essential aspects of the role. Proficient use of Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to ensure clear and timely communication with crew and support personnel during all operational phases is required.

Delivering Exceptional Service: The PIC will contribute to providing a consistently high level of service to owners and passengers, actively identifying and resolving service deviations. Effective collaboration with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners is crucial to achieving this goal. The ability to professionally handle conflicts and challenges is essential.

Maintaining Proficiency and Compliance: The PIC must maintain all required regulatory and company training and recency of experience. Full compliance with the company Safety Management System (SMS) program, including reporting safety concerns or non-compliance through the appropriate channels is mandatory.
