Role Summary
The Captain holds comprehensive responsibility for the overall safety, efficiency, and seamless operation of company aircraft flights. The primary purpose of this role is to furnish secure and dependable air transportation for company executives and their guests. The Captain maintains full control and accountability as the Pilot in Command.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed flight plans following a thorough review of routes, weather reports, flight restrictions, NOTAMs, and schedules for departures and arrivals.
- Ensure all aircraft systems, on-board safety, and navigation equipment are in full working order and have been approved by qualified technicians.
- Complete comprehensive pre-flight checks and brief the cabin crew.
- Act as Pilot in Command on company aircraft, collaborating effectively with other crew members to provide safe and reliable air transportation.
- Track and log all information pertaining to technical issues and complete standard flight documentation as required by the Director of Aviation.
- Perform non-flight duties supporting aviation department operations, including providing safety officer assistance and updating the Flight Operations Manual for regulatory compliance.
- Execute all other duties as required to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or 12 or more years of experience as a licensed commercial pilot.
- 5 or more years of experience as an ATP (Airline Transport Pilot).
- Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot license.
- Holds a First Class Medical certificate.
- Accumulated 3,000 or more hours of total flight time.
- Accumulated 2,000 or more hours of flight time as Pilot in Command.
- Strong understanding of international aviation rules and regulations.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability.
- Comprehensive knowledge of in-flight safety procedures.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Polite and personable demeanor with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Preparedness for emergency situations.
- Detail-oriented approach to tasks.
- Ability to work effectively alone or as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree.
- Possession of a GV Type Rating.
- Possession of a GVII Type Rating.
- Accumulated 500 or more flight hours in large-cabin aircraft.
