Responsibilities
The Corporate Pilot/Aircraft Captain will be instrumental in the safe and efficient operation of State Farm's modern fleet, which comprises four Gulfstream G500 aircraft. Operating under Part 91 regulations, the primary focus of this role involves domestic travel, with occasional international assignments. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting comprehensive pre-flight planning and ensuring all operational requirements are met.
- Executing safe and efficient aircraft operations in accordance with company procedures, FAA regulations, and international standards.
- Performing post-flight duties, including accurate record-keeping and necessary reporting.
- Adhering strictly to all safety protocols and best practices to ensure the well-being of passengers and crew.
- Collaborating effectively within a multi-crew environment to ensure a seamless and professional air transportation experience for executives and personnel.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Minimum of 3,000 hours total flight time.
- Minimum of 1,000 hours of multi-engine turbine Pilot in Command (PIC) time.
- Proven experience in multi-crew flight operations.
- Ability and willingness to relocate to Bloomington, Illinois.
- Possession of a valid U.S. Passport.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Corporate Aviation Captain.
- Extensive experience with international and oceanic flight operations.
- Gulfstream GVII type rating.
- A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
