Role Responsibilities

The Corporate Pilot / Aircraft Captain will assume a pivotal role within State Farm's Air Transportation Department, involving the operation of its modern fleet of four Gulfstream 500 aircraft under Part 91 regulations. The position primarily entails domestic travel, with occasional international destinations, ensuring safe, efficient, and professional air transportation for corporate personnel. The Corporate Pilot / Aircraft Captain will be an integral part of a dedicated multi-crew operation.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of Gulfstream 500 aircraft in strict accordance with Part 91 regulations and company standard operating procedures.
• Exercising sound decision-making and judgment, particularly in complex operational environments.
• Maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and technical expertise in all flight operations.
• Contributing effectively as a collaborative member of a multi-crew flight deck team.
• Ensuring unwavering compliance with all aviation safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

Prospective candidates must demonstrate a robust professional background, including:

• Possession of a valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
• A current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• A minimum of 3,000 hours total flight time.
• A minimum of 1,000 hours of multi-engine turbine Pilot In Command (PIC) time.
• Proven experience in multi-crew flight operations.
• Willingness and ability to relocate to Bloomington, Illinois.
• Possession of a valid U.S. Passport.

Preferred Qualifications

Highly desirable attributes for this role include:

• Prior experience as a Corporate Aviation Captain.
• Demonstrated international and oceanic flight experience.
• A current Gulfstream GVII type rating.
• Attainment of a Bachelor's Degree.
