Core Responsibilities and Objectives
The primary objective of this position is to execute safe, efficient, and compliant flight operations. This involves assuming the full responsibilities associated with the assigned role (PIC or SIC) and acting as a dedicated representative of the company's commitment to excellence.
Essential Tasks and Accountabilities
- Assumes all duties and obligations as Aircraft Commander or delegated duties as Second in Command, ensuring the absolute safety of all flights, passengers, and crew.
- Strictly adheres to all provisions within the Aircraft Flight Manual, Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Operations Manuals, and all applicable aviation regulatory legislation.
- Focuses relentlessly on the safe and efficient execution of the flight mission, maintaining operational compliance at all times.
- Ensures the safe navigation of the aircraft by continually and independently confirming both the geographical position of the aircraft and its safe terrain clearance.
- Executes all operational procedures and checklists with precision and completeness, as required by flight documentation and determined by the flight commander.
- Promptly reports any incident, occurrence, fault, failure, malfunction, or defect that has endangered or may potentially endanger the safety, airworthiness, or safe operation of the aeroplane.
- Consistently provides the highest possible level of customer service throughout all phases of operation, thereby contributing directly to customer satisfaction and retention.
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications (KSAOs)
Mandatory Requirements:
- Licensing: Must possess a valid, full EASA Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with the appropriate type ratings.
- Medical Certification: A current European Union Class 1 Medical Certificate is essential.
- Type Rating: Mandatory type rating on the Praetor 500/600 or Legacy 450/500 (EMB550) is required.
- Flight Experience:
- Pilot in Command (PIC) candidates must demonstrate a minimum of 3,000 hours of total flight time.
- Second in Command (SIC) candidates must demonstrate a minimum of 1,500 hours of total flight time.
- Operational Scope: Must possess extensive prior experience in global flight operations.
- Performance Record: A clear and verifiable demonstration of excellent operational performance and adherence to professional standards.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in the English language is required (ICAO Level 6 proficiency is highly preferred).
Advantageous Qualifications:
- A strong background in commercial aviation environments, particularly those governed by EUOPS and/or AIROPS regulations, is highly advantageous.
- Previous specialized training obtained through military or airline pilot programs is considered a significant benefit.
