Aviation Pilot (Pilot in Command / Second in Command) - Executive Jet Operations
Position Summary
The esteemed organization is actively seeking highly skilled and dedicated Aviation Pilots to serve as either Pilot in Command (PIC) or Second in Command (SIC) within its executive jet operations. This critical role is instrumental in ensuring the utmost safety and efficiency of all flights while consistently delivering an exceptional level of customer service to guarantee unparalleled passenger satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- The Pilot will meticulously execute all duties as an Aircraft Commander, or as precisely allocated by the Commander, strictly adhering to the aircraft's Flight Manual, comprehensive company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and all applicable aviation legislation to ensure the paramount safety of every flight and its passengers.
- The Pilot will consistently prioritize the safe and efficient conduct of all flight operations, performing duties in strict accordance with established company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- The Pilot is responsible for ensuring the precise and accurate navigation of the aircraft, maintaining a continuous and independent verification of both the aircraft's geographical position and its safe terrain clearance.
- All operational procedures and checklists will be performed with unwavering attention to detail, as specifically stipulated in the Airplane Flight Manual, Operations Manuals, and as directed by the flight commander.
- Any occurrence or incident that has endangered, or has the potential to endanger, flight safety must be promptly and thoroughly reported.
- Any fault, failure, malfunction, or defect that the Pilot believes may affect the airworthiness or safe operation of the aeroplane must be reported immediately.
- The Pilot is expected to consistently provide the highest possible standard of customer service to clients, thereby making a significant contribution to overall customer satisfaction and retention.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Pilot in Command (PIC): A minimum of 3000 hours total flight time is required.
- Second in Command (SIC): A minimum of 1500 hours total flight time is required.
- Possession of a current and valid EASA ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence) with all appropriate and current type ratings.
- Mandatory type rating on Praetor 500/600 or Legacy 450/500 (EMB550) aircraft.
- A current European Union Class 1 Medical Certificate is essential.
- Demonstrable history of excellent operational performance and unwavering professionalism within an aviation environment.
- Extensive and proven experience in global flight operations.
- A strong background in commercial aviation, with experience gained in EUOPS and/or AIROPS environments, is considered a distinct advantage.
- Previous military or airline training background will be viewed favorably.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, with ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 6 strongly preferred.
