First Officer - Embraer 550 / Legacy 500 / Praetor 600

This is a permanent, full-time position based at Birmingham, UK, operating on a fixed roster of seven days on and five days off. The role primarily involves flying within Europe, with potential operations outside this region due to a Worldwide Air Operator Certificate (AOC). Previous worldwide operational experience is considered a distinct advantage. Applicants must offer flexibility where required.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate excellent flying ability, strong interpersonal communication, and sound decision-making skills.
  • Consistently deliver the highest level of customer care, with exceptional service delivery and strong commercial awareness.
  • Maintain an immaculate professional appearance at all times and uphold the highest operational and safety standards.
  • Demonstrate exceptional Crew Resource Management (CRM) skills.
  • Operate the aircraft in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Company Operations Manuals, and the Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Operate the aircraft in accordance with the Operations Manual, ensuring the aircraft’s maintenance state remains compliant for flight.
  • Coordinate and manage team tasks to achieve safe and satisfactory outcomes, ensuring standard and emergency procedures comply with regulations both on the ground and in the air.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company Operations Manual, relevant national and international aviation law, and accepted aviation practices and procedures.

Requirements

  • EMB550 type rating
  • Business / Executive VVIP aviation background is preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • High operational standards, safety awareness, and exceptional crew resource management skills
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and strong commercial spirit
  • Highly organised and motivated
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • UK CAA Flight Crew License, although ideally both UK and EASA FCL
  • UK Class 1 aviation medical, although ideally both UK and EASA
  • A minimum of 1000 hours total time
  • Right to live and work in the UK
  • English proficiency level 5 or above
