About the Role

This is an exciting and rewarding career opportunity within business jet aviation, demanding a diverse skill set and a genuine passion for flying. We are seeking highly talented pilots with extensive previous experience and the necessary licences and ratings to join our esteemed flight crew. Safety is paramount in all our operations, and we are committed to ensuring our crew are exceptionally trained and prepared. The majority of our flights are conducted under Commercial Air Transport (Part-CAT), adhering to stringent safety margins. This position requires an individual who places safety at the forefront of every decision.

The role is based in Birmingham, UK, and primarily involves flying within Europe. However, due to our Worldwide Air Operator Certificate (AOC), operations outside this region may be required. Flexibility is also essential in this dynamic role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate excellent flying ability, strong interpersonal communication, and sound decision-making skills.
  • Consistently deliver the highest level of customer care and exceptional service.
  • Maintain an immaculate professional appearance at all times.
  • Uphold the highest operational and safety standards.
  • Exhibit exceptional Crew Resource Management (CRM) skills.
  • Operate the aircraft in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Company Operations Manuals, and Aircraft Flight Manuals.
  • Ensure the aircraft’s maintenance state remains compliant for flight.
  • Coordinate and manage team tasks to achieve safe and satisfactory outcomes.
  • Ensure standard and emergency procedures comply with regulations both on the ground and in the air.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company Operations Manual, relevant national and international aviation law, and accepted aviation practices and procedures.

Requirements

  • EMB550 type rating.
  • Business / Executive VVIP aviation background is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • High operational standards, safety awareness, and exceptional crew resource management skills.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and strong commercial spirit.
  • Highly organised and motivated.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • UK CAA Flight Crew License (UK and EASA FCL preferred).
  • UK Class 1 aviation medical (UK and EASA preferred).
  • A minimum of 1000 hours total time.
  • Right to live and work in the UK.
  • English proficiency level 5 or above.
  • Previous worldwide operational experience would be considered a distinct advantage.
