A320 Captain - Flexible Part-Time Position in Copenhagen

An exceptional opportunity exists for a qualified Captain to join a dynamic airline on its A320 fleet, based in Copenhagen, Denmark. This role initially features a flexible part-time agreement of 83.3% for the first 24 months, with the option to transition to a full-time 100% contract thereafter.

Work Schedule and Lifestyle Balance

This unique position is designed to enhance work-life balance. It includes an generous 42 days of vacation per year and a maximum of 155 working days annually, with no PR-days. The monthly base salary is calculated at 83.3%. While workload will peak at approximately 100% during the summer months and in December, it will adjust to 50% or 75% for the remainder of the year. This flexibility allows ample time to utilize extensive travel benefits and spend quality time with friends and family.

Flight Time Requirements

  • A minimum of 4,000 hours of Total Time.
  • At least 2,000 hours in jet aircraft or high-speed turboprop operations.
  • A minimum of 1,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) on the A320.
  • Proven experience in Nordic winter operations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • An unrestricted EASA ATPL (A).
  • An EASA Airline Transport Pilot Licence (A), Commercial Pilot Licence (A), or Multi-Crew Pilot Licence. (Note: Non-Scandinavian EASA licenses are accepted but require conversion prior to course commencement).
  • A valid Medical Class 1 certificate.
  • A valid Instrument Rating.
  • ICAO English Level 5 or 6 proficiency.
  • Unrestricted right to live and work within the European Union.
  • A clean criminal record.

All listed requirements must be met, and all licenses and medical certificates must be valid and current at the time of application.

Pre-Employment Screening

Please note that successful employment is contingent upon passing a comprehensive background check, a personal security interview, and a drug and alcohol test. These essential screening processes, including the security interview and testing, must be conducted in Copenhagen, the designated base city.
