Purpose of Position
Executive Jet Management (Europe) Limited invites applications from highly qualified aviation professionals to serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) or Second in Command (SIC) on the Embraer Praetor 600 (EMB-550) aircraft. The successful candidate will be responsible for acting in their designated capacity to ensure the safe and efficient execution of all flights, while consistently providing the highest level of customer service to guarantee client satisfaction and retention.
Tasks and Responsibilities
The Pilot executes all duties allocated by the Aircraft Commander (or acts as the Commander) to maintain the integrity and safety of the flight operation. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Carrying out all duties of the Aircraft Commander or Co-Pilot to ensure the safety of all passengers and flights, in strict accordance with the Aircraft Flight Manual, Company Standard Operating Procedures, and all applicable aviation legislation.
- Focusing on the safe, smooth, and efficient operation of the flight mission in full compliance with established company procedures.
- Confirming the safe navigation of the aircraft, which includes maintaining a continuous and independent check of both the geographical position and safe terrain clearance.
- Executing all operational procedures and checklists meticulously, as detailed in the Airplane Flight Manual, Operations Manuals, and as determined by the Commander of the flight.
- Promptly reporting any occurrence or incident that has endangered or may potentially endanger safety.
- Reporting any fault, failure, malfunction, or defect that is believed to affect the airworthiness or safe operation of the aeroplane.
- Providing exceptional customer service at all times, thereby significantly contributing to superior customer experience and retention.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAOs)
Candidates are required to meet the following mandatory criteria:
- Possession of a current Type Rating on the Praetor 500/600 or Legacy 450/500 (EMB-550).
- Holding a full EASA Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) with the appropriate type ratings.
- Possession of a valid European Union Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Clear demonstration of excellent professional performance and adherence to high operational standards.
- Fluency in English (ICAO Level 6 proficiency is preferred).
Minimum Flight Time Requirements:
- Pilot in Command (PIC): Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time.
- Second in Command (SIC): Minimum 1,500 hours total flight time.
Highly Desirable Attributes:
- Extensive global flight operational experience.
- A strong background in commercial aviation, ideally within a demanding EUOPS and/or AIROPS operational environment.
- Prior training exposure derived from military or established airline training methodologies.
