Pilot in Command - Challenger 300 - Dallas, TX
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a Berkshire Hathaway company and a subsidiary of NetJets, seeks a qualified Pilot in Command for a Challenger 300 aircraft based in Dallas, TX (KDAL). As a pioneer in aircraft management and worldwide jet charter services since 1977, EJM offers unrivaled resources and operational stability within the world’s largest private aviation infrastructure. This is a dedicated two-pilot account supported by a maintenance technician, flying approximately 450 hours per year under EJM's Part 135 certificate, primarily within the domestic United States.
The Pilot in Command holds the ultimate responsibility for ensuring the aircraft is operated safely, compliantly, and efficiently. The PIC adheres to all company and regulatory requirements while delivering an exceptional service experience.
Responsibilities Include:
- Ensuring crewing and trip assignments comply with company and regulatory requirements.
- Completing flight planning, performance, and weight and balance tasks.
- Utilizing Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead briefings and mitigate operational risks.
- Complying with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinating with company personnel. Acting as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
- Completing all aircraft pre-flight tasks, including maintenance status checks, to ensure mission capability. Recording all aircraft discrepancies according to company SOPs.
- Ensuring all aircraft ground servicing items (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) are monitored and accomplished per SOPs.
- Completing passenger briefings according to company policy and regulation, delivering excellent customer service and meeting passenger needs.
- Utilizing Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to communicate with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
- Providing quality service to owners and passengers, identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience, and resolving service deviations.
- Collaborating with crew members and EJM internal partners to provide a consistent service experience, resolving conflict in an acceptable manner.
- Maintaining regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience.
- Complying with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) and reporting safety or non-compliance concerns.
Qualifications:
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
- Prior Part 135 experience is required.
- FAA Type rating in CL300 is preferred.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
Minimum Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
