Pilot (Captain/First Officer)
Position Purpose
The Pilot in Command (PIC) / Second in Command (SIC) is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all flights, while simultaneously providing an exemplary level of customer service to guarantee passenger satisfaction and operational integrity.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Execute all duties as Aircraft Commander or as assigned by the Commander to uphold the safety of all flights and passengers, strictly adhering to the Aircraft Flight Manual, all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and applicable aviation legislation.
- Prioritize and maintain the safe and efficient conduct of flights in accordance with established company procedures.
- Ensure the accurate and safe navigation of the aircraft through continuous and independent verification of the aircraft's geographical position and terrain clearance.
- Perform all operational procedures and utilize checklists as prescribed by the Airplane Flight Manual, Operations Manuals, and as directed by the flight commander.
- Promptly report any occurrence or incident that has endangered, or has the potential to endanger, flight safety.
- Immediately report any fault, failure, malfunction, or defect that is believed to affect the airworthiness or safe operation of the aircraft.
- Consistently deliver the highest standard of customer service, actively contributing to customer satisfaction and fostering long-term retention.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Qualifications (KSAOs)
- Minimum 3000 flight hours for Pilot in Command (PIC) positions; Minimum 1500 flight hours for Second in Command (SIC) positions.
- Mandatory type-rating on a Praetor 500, Praetor 600, Legacy 450, or Legacy 500 (EMB-550) aircraft.
- Possession of a full EASA ATPL with all relevant and appropriate type ratings.
- Valid European Union Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Demonstrated history of excellent performance and operational excellence.
- Extensive experience in global flight operations.
- A robust background in commercial aviation, with experience in EU-OPS and/or AIROPS environments considered advantageous.
- Military or previous airline training experience is considered an advantage.
- Fluency in English, with English Language Proficiency Level 6 preferred.
