Captain/First Officer - Corporate Aviation
Marvin is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Captain/First Officer to join its corporate flight department. The successful candidate will operate a Beech 1900D aircraft. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a family-owned business with a distinguished 47-year history of operating a corporate flight department. Marvin's aviation department prioritizes safety, exceptional customer service, and operational excellence. This position requires residency in Warroad, MN.
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting preflight and post-flight inspections, filing and reviewing flight plans, and assessing weather conditions.
- Supervising aircraft servicing.
- Assuming flight duties as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) or Second-in-Command (SIC) as assigned.
- Actively participating in the department's Safety Management System.
- Reporting maintenance discrepancies.
- Adhering to company and manufacturer's Standard Operating Procedures.
- Reporting directly to the Chief Pilot.
Compensation:
The annual salary range for this position is $118,000 - $158,000.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot or Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine Land rating.
- Possession of a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Ability to obtain a PIC/SIC type rating in the company's BE-1900D aircraft.
- Adaptability to a flexible work schedule.
- Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer service oriented approach.
- Valid Passport with no travel restrictions and a valid Driver's License.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- No history of accidents or violations.
- Availability for occasional weekend work.
Experience Requirements:
Captain:
- 3000 hours of total flight time.
- 500 hours of turbine flight time.
First Officer:
- 1500 total flight hours.
- 350 hours of multi-engine flight time.
- 100 hours of instrument flight time.
