MH-60 Civilian Flight Crewmember Instructor
MAG Aerospace is seeking a highly qualified MH-60 Civilian Flight Crewmember Instructor (CFCI) to provide flight training support services for the U.S. Army Special Operations Aviation Command (USASAOC), supporting the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (160th SOAR) and the Special Operations Aviation Training Battalion (SOATB).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Flight Crewmember Instructor will:
- Train NCOs, Soldiers, Government, Partner Nation, and Contractor rotary wing crew members in knowledge and skills specific to Special Operations Aviation (SOA).
- Provide flight and academic instruction for qualification as Basic Mission Qualified Non-Rated Crewmembers in Special Operations MH-60 helicopters.
- Provide training in day, night, and night vision goggle flight.
- Instruct on mission tasks, including fast rope infiltration, hoist operations, and gunnery.
- Deliver environmental training encompassing desert, mountain, overwater, and urban operations.
- Provide instruction on air-to-air refueling and deck landing operations.
- Deliver Special Operations Aviation Basic Mission Qualification (BMQ) instruction (flight and classroom) and provide proficiency certification of all non-rated crewmembers (NRCMs).
- Prepare and present flight crewmember instruction to students on relevant curriculum topics and assist with aircrew training programs.
- Perform crew chief duties or operator-level maintenance (for airfield recovery) on aircraft, and perform crew duties during training support flights, recovery flights, demonstration flights, and maintenance test flights (subject to Government Flight Representative (GFR) approval).
- Assist with firing range duties per CAMREG 385-5.
- Assist with the accurate completion of crewmember flight records to document all training.
- Drive military vehicles as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Utility Helicopter Crewmember (Army MOS 15T - Black Hawk Repairer) on MH-60 helicopters.
- Service as a Non-Rated Standardization Instructor (SI) or Fully Mission Qualified (FMQ).
- Experience as a Non-Rated Flight Instructor (FI) in an Army Special Operations helicopter.
- Minimum of 500 flight hours in MH-60 helicopters.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,500 to $149,500 (annualized USD), commensurate with experience, education, skills, and contract requirements. This represents the typical salary range and is one component of MAG's total compensation package.
