Flight Operations Instructor

Frontier Airlines, a leading ultra-low-cost carrier, seeks a highly skilled and experienced Flight Operations Instructor to join our team in Aurora, CO (with additional locations in Orlando, FL). Responsibilities:

The Flight Operations Instructor will deliver comprehensive simulator-based training to Frontier Airlines pilots, encompassing initial and upgrade training. This includes instruction on A320 systems, company policies and procedures, relevant FAA regulations, and emergency procedures. Responsibilities will also include:

Developing and delivering high-quality training modules, providing constructive feedback to enhance pilot performance.
Facilitating lesson planning, classroom and simulator preparation, and maintaining up-to-date aviation publications and training materials.
Meticulously documenting all training activities, participant details, and outcomes.
Collaborating with senior instructors and department managers to address training-related issues and contribute to course development.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

A Bachelor's degree (preferred).
A minimum of one year of experience as a Simulator Instructor/Evaluator or in a comparable training role (strongly preferred).
Part 121 aircraft training experience (preferred).
An Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with an A320 type rating (preferred).
A valid airman certificate with appropriate class rating and type rating.
Completion of Frontier Airlines A320 training or a bridging program, including any necessary recurrent training.
Current Proficiency Check (PC) and/or Proficiency Training (PT) (if required).
Completion of Frontier Airlines Simulator Instructor training or a bridging curriculum (if required).
Proven ability to effectively deliver all curriculum segments and associated training program duties.
Fluent English (reading, writing, and speaking).
In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems and Frontier Airlines policies and procedures.
Exceptional organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint).
Experience operating A320 simulators/FTDs.
A strong record of compliance with Frontier's Reliability program (if applicable).
No more than one training/checking failure within the past two years.
An exemplary record of compliance with the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
Adherence to the highest standards of professional conduct.

Compensation and Benefits:

External candidates will be scheduled and paid for a minimum of 16 training events per month (as defined by the Frontier Airlines Pilot CBA).
Internal candidates will receive a minimum annual salary of $150,000.
