Professional Certifications and Experience
- Possession of a current EASA Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL(A)).
- A valid Type Rating Instructor/Examiner (TRI/TRE) qualification is mandatory (minimum TRI/r). While an Airbus A220 TRI/TRE qualification is highly advantageous, it is not strictly mandatory.
- Demonstrated, verifiable experience as a flight instructor.
- A minimum of 5,000 total flight hours accumulated on CS-25 certified aircraft.
- A minimum of 1,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours recorded on CS-25 certified aircraft.
- Possession of a current Medical Certificate Class I.
Statutory and Educational Requirements
- Formal higher education entrance qualification (e.g., German Abitur, Fachhochschulreife, or internationally equivalent accreditation).
- Unrestricted eligibility to work, demonstrated by EU citizenship or possession of a valid, unlimited residence and work permit for the location.
- The applicant must possess a passport with unlimited validity. Non-EU passport holders must ensure that their travel documents impose no stricter entry restrictions than those applicable to an EU passport holder.
- Demonstrated confident verbal and written language proficiency in English, meeting at least ICAO Language Proficiency Level 4.
