The Opportunity

The successful candidates will be offered a secure 3-year renewable contract. This role is particularly attractive to pilots residing in the Australia and New Zealand region, as Fiji Airways facilitates seamless travel by providing commuting tickets between the crew member's contract base and Nadi for the commencement of duty.

Monthly Payment (Year 1): NZD 17,428 for up to 70 block hours.
Accommodation Allowance: A generous monthly allowance of NZD 2,240.
Overtime Payment: Monthly overtime is payable for block hours exceeding 70, calculated at 125% of the hourly rate.
Flight Duty Pay: An additional NZD 10 per block hour.
Guaranteed Days Off: A consistent block of 10 days off is provided each month, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Essential Requirements

Prospective B737NG & MAX Captains must rigorously meet the following criteria:

Possession of a valid B737NG type rating.
Minimum of 500 hours Pilot In Command (PIC) on the B737NG.
Minimum of 2,000 hours jet time.
Minimum of 3,500 hours total flying time.
Demonstrated recency, having flown the B737NG type within the last 12 months.
Maximum age of 60 years at the time of application.
Holding a valid ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
Possession of a valid ICAO First Class Medical Certificate.
Demonstration of ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or above.
