Job Description

Fiji Airlines, headquartered in Nadi, Fiji, is actively recruiting qualified and type-rated Boeing 737NG and MAX Captains. The airline operates a diverse fleet including Airbus A330, A350, and Boeing 737NG/MAX aircraft, serving key routes across the New Zealand and Pacific regions, as well as international destinations such as Los Angeles, Vancouver, Hong Kong, and various cities in Australia.

Salary & Benefits

Fiji Airlines offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package for its flight crew:

• Contract Term: 3-year renewable contract
• Monthly Accommodation Allowance: NZD 2,240
• Monthly Payment (Year 1 - Captains): NZD 17,428 for 70 block hours
• Monthly Payment (Year 1 - First Officers): NZD 10,208 for 70 block hours
• Overtime Pay: For flights exceeding 70 block hours per month, pilots receive 125% of the hourly rate.
• Flight Duty Pay: NZD 10 per block hour
• Days Off: A block of 10 days off provided each month.
• Annual Leave: 24 days
• Sick Leave: 12 days
• Insurance: Emergency medical insurance coverage provided.
• Travel Benefits: Discounted travel for pilots and their family members on Fiji Airways flights.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following essential criteria:

• Valid Boeing 737NG type rating.
• Minimum of 500 Pilot-In-Command (PIC) hours on the Boeing 737NG.
• Minimum of 2,000 jet time hours.
• Minimum of 3,500 total flight hours.
• Recent flight experience on type within the last 12 months.
• Maximum age of 60 years.
• Valid ICAO ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License).
• Valid First Class Medical Certificate.
• ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or higher.
