Helicopter Maintenance Test Pilot - UH-60 Series
The organization is seeking a seasoned and certified helicopter pilot to perform critical Maintenance Test Flights. This role is integral to ensuring the airworthiness and operational readiness of rotary-wing aircraft following maintenance or modifications. The ideal candidate will possess a robust flight background and a thorough understanding of aviation safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Maintenance Test Flights on UH-60 A and L model helicopters.
- Perform Maintenance Test Flights to evaluate aircraft acceptance or confirm the accomplishment of maintenance or modifications.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must possess DCMA INST 8210-1D certification to be qualified in mission, type, design, and, if appropriate, series of aircraft.
- Requires a minimum of 1,000 hours of pilot-in-command (PIC) time.
- Must have at least 300 hours of PIC time in similar type aircraft to those for which duties will be performed.
- Must be a USAACE/AATS (or equivalent Army approved NET) qualified Instructor Pilot (IP) in the type aircraft for which duties will be performed.
