Job Overview

Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Global Engagement Pilot to join the team in Atlanta, GA. In this high-visibility position, the successful candidate will engage with pilots, regulators, executives, and subject matter experts to enhance flight operations safety and optimize the use of Boeing products worldwide. The Pilot Services Team acts as a representative of the company for industry and regulatory engagement, offering opportunities to act as pilot-in-command and deploy as an instructor for customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain partnerships with industry stakeholders, regulatory authorities, and partners.
  • Manage project resources, supplier technical oversight, and process improvements.
  • Implement policies, procedures, and operational goals.
  • Conduct comprehensive flight and ground instruction for company and customer aircrew.
  • Maintain the highest standards of Crew Resource Management (CRM).
  • Mentor and evaluate pilots to ensure safe flight operations.
  • Operate Boeing and customer aircraft as Pilot in Command and Instructor.

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Current FAA ATP, EASA ATPL, or international equivalent.
  • Current FAA or EASA First Class Medical certificate or international equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5,000 hours total flight time in public transport category aircraft.
  • Minimum of 1,000 hours of flight instructor time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Experience presenting to all levels of management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Current B737, B787, or B777 type rating.
  • Experience as an FAA Part 121 Airline Instructor Pilot, Line Check Airman, or international equivalent.
  • Possession of a passport or ability to obtain one for domestic and international travel.
  • International and transoceanic flight experience.

Additional Information

Travel: Up to 50% travel required.

Compensation & Benefits: The salary range for this position is $205,700–$278,300, based on experience, qualifications, and market considerations. Employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and time-off programs, subject to eligibility.

Relocation: Relocation assistance is available based on candidate eligibility.
