Job Title: Flight Operations Project Manager
Position Overview
The Flight Operations Project Manager plays a critical role in driving key technology initiatives within the airline industry. This position is responsible for the financial, operational, quality, and regulatory performance of assigned projects. The incumbent will oversee project lifecycles, facilitate interdepartmental collaboration, and manage resources and schedules to ensure project objectives are met. Operating with minimal guidance, this role requires a deep understanding of business drivers to deliver solutions that positively impact the pilot group and flight operations bases.
Key Responsibilities

Define project roles, responsibilities, and planning activities.

Perform project tracking, risk management, and effective change control.

Utilize project management best practices to drive decision-making and manage project priorities.

Communicate project status to leadership and stakeholders.

Promote stakeholder involvement and foster professional working relationships.

Represent the Flight Operations department on cross-functional technology projects.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience.

0–2 years of experience in Flight Operations or Project Management.

Fundamental knowledge of Flight Operations.

Documented project management experience or relevant certification.

Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external vendors.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and professional email systems.

Reliable, punctual attendance as an essential function of the role.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Successful completion of an interview process.
Preferred Qualifications

Comprehensive knowledge of FOX scheduling practices, procedures, and pilot training requirements.

Understanding of pilot UPA, particularly sections related to training.

1+ year of experience in an operational environment interfacing with various departments and leadership levels.

Experience documenting processes, procedures, and requirements related to operational system programming.

Experience with application publishing tools such as InDesign or Oxygen.
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this position is $66,500.00 to $86,616.00, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. This role is eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation.
