Second in Command (SIC) – Embraer Legacy 500 (Part 91)

Latitude 33 Aviation is seeking an experienced and professional Second in Command (SIC) to join its flight operations team in Carlsbad, California. As an award-winning operator of one of the largest and newest private jet fleets in the U.S., the company specializes in professional aircraft management and premier private charter services.

Job Summary

The SIC will support FAA Part 91 operations based at Carlsbad Airport. Successful candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Greater Southern California area. Preference will be given to candidates who are local to the Greater San Diego area and possess specific time-in-type experience.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Total flight time: 2,500 hours
  • Turbine time: 250 hours
  • Current FAA Class 1 medical certificate
  • No significant accidents, incidents, or enforcements within the last 5 years
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • FAA ATP certificate (preferred)
  • EMB550 type rating (preferred)
  • Multi-Engine PIC time: 500 hours (preferred)
  • International flight experience (preferred)
