Pilot in Command – Hawker 800XP/900XP
Full-Time – Atlanta, GA
Jet Linx seeks qualified Pilot in Command candidates for its Midsize jet aircraft, operating under Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. The successful candidate is expected to reside within a two-hour call-out time of the assigned home base in Atlanta, GA, or be willing to relocate to meet this requirement.
Position Summary
The Pilot in Command (PIC) reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot. The PIC is responsible for preparing and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in strict accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Total Time: 3500 hours
- Total Pilot in Command (PIC): 2000 hours
- Total Time in Type: 250 hours
- Total PIC Time in Type: 250 hours
- Total Multi-Engine: 1500 hours
- Total Multi-Engine PIC: 500 hours
- Total Turbine: 500 hours
- Total Instrument: 300 hours
Essential Functions
The Pilot in Command performs the following essential duties:
- Manages duty, flight, and rest times in compliance with both company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Maintains consistent communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and completion of pre- and post-flight reports.
- Manages and maintains electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
- Ensures navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current and readily available.
- Maintains a current 1st Class medical certificate.
- Demonstrates strong, proactive decision-making skills in all operational contexts.
- Embodies and upholds Jet Linx’s core values in all professional interactions.
Other Requirements
Candidates should also meet the following requirements:
- Possession of Initial or Recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. driver's license.
- Ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Hold a current passport with unrestricted international travel capability, particularly to Canada and Caribbean countries.
- Possess or have the ability to obtain an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- Possess a current 1st Class Medical Certificate.
- Possess a valid FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug and alcohol testing as required.
- Ability to release and pass a FAA Pilot Record Database review conducted by a System Chief Pilot.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs.
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- Ability to perform duties primarily in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
Compensation and Benefits
Jet Linx offers a competitive compensation and benefits package to its team members. The starting base annual salary for this Pilot in Command position ranges from $145,000 to $200,000. The actual base salary offered is dependent upon factors including geographic location, aircraft size (relevant to crew positions), and the candidate's relevant education, training, and experience. The comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a 6% company match, paid time off, and company-paid life and short-term disability coverage.
