Solairus Aviation is actively seeking a Full-Time Gulfstream G550 Captain to join an established operation based at KLAX airport in Los Angeles, California. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional teamwork and consistently strive for excellence in every aspect of their professional duties. Essential Responsibilities

The Gulfstream G550 Captain is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. Key duties include, but are not limited to:

• Ensuring the safe operation of the Gulfstream G550 aircraft.
• Conducting all flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to established procedures and regulations.
• Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft prior to flight.
• Performing a thorough pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Conducting a complete check of weather conditions and available facilities along the planned route, including potential alternate airports.
• Ensuring flight operations comply with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures, as well as all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Prioritizing the safety and well-being of all passengers, crew members, and the aircraft.
• Accurately completing all required trip paperwork according to current procedures.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should possess the following minimum flight hour experience:

• Total Time: 3000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land Pilot-in-Command (MEL PIC): 500 hours
• Time in Turbojet Aircraft: 500 hours
• Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications & Certifications

• Must hold a type rating on the Gulfstream G550 or a comparable aircraft type.
• A valid First Class Medical Certificate is required.
• Ability to work effectively on an on-call basis.
• Commitment to completing annual ICAO International Procedures training.
• Primary residence must be within a two-hour drive of KLAX, or the candidate must be willing to relocate.
