Pilot in Command - Hawker 900XP
Jet Linx is seeking a qualified and experienced Pilot in Command for its Hawker 900XP aircraft, supporting Part 91 and 135 flight operations. This is a full-time position based in Naples, Florida. The ideal candidate will reside, or be willing to relocate, within a two-hour call-out time of the home base.
Position Summary
The Pilot in Command (PIC) reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot. He or she is responsible for the preparation and safe, efficient operation of company aircraft, adhering to all Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Pilot in Command Time: 2000 hours
- Time in Type: 250 hours
- Pilot in Command Time in Type: 250 hours
- Multi-Engine Time: 1500 hours
- Multi-Engine Pilot in Command Time: 500 hours
- Turbine Time: 500 hours
- Instrument Time: 300 hours
Essential Functions
- Manages duty, flight, and rest times in accordance with company policies and CFR requirements.
- Maintains consistent communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports.
- Maintains and manages electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
- Ensures navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current.
- Maintains a current 1st Class medical certificate.
- Demonstrates strong, proactive decision-making skills.
- Exemplifies Jet Linx’s core values in all interactions.
Other Requirements
- Initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.
- Must possess the ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license.
- Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Must possess a current passport.
- ATP certification (or the ability to obtain).
- Current 1st Class Medical Certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug/alcohol testing as required.
- Unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to release and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- Must be able to work in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
- Must be able to move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
