Our organization is actively seeking highly qualified Second in Command candidates to join our team, operating heavy jet aircraft under both Part 91 and Part 135 regulations. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a dynamic flight operation while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a robust understanding of aviation principles and a dedication to operational excellence. He or she will be responsible for managing duty, flight, and rest times in strict adherence to both company policy and Federal Aviation Regulations. Furthermore, the Second in Command will ensure continuous and effective communication with the company, diligently reporting standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position updates, and pre- and post-flight information. Maintaining and managing electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications will also be a key responsibility.
The successful candidate must reside within a two-hour call-out radius of their designated home base, or be willing to relocate to meet this requirement. This position demands a commitment to safety, a meticulous approach to flight operations, and a strong ability to work collaboratively within a crew environment.
