Pilot in Command – Falcon 7X
Jet Linx is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pilot in Command to operate Falcon 7X aircraft for both Part 91 and 135 flight operations. This full-time position is based in Teterboro, New Jersey. The successful candidate must reside or be willing to relocate within a two-hour call-out radius of the base.
Position Summary:
The Pilot in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft. The pilot will adhere to all Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 3,500 hours total flight time.
- A minimum of 2,000 hours total pilot-in-command time.
- A minimum of 250 hours total time in type (Falcon 7X).
- A minimum of 250 hours pilot-in-command time in type (Falcon 7X).
- A minimum of 1,500 hours total multi-engine flight time.
- A minimum of 500 hours multi-engine pilot-in-command time.
- A minimum of 500 hours total turbine flight time.
- A minimum of 300 hours total instrument time.
Essential Functions:
- Manages duty, flight, and rest times in compliance with company policies and CFRs.
- Maintains consistent communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports.
- Maintains and manages electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
- Ensures that all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current.
- Maintains a valid First Class Medical Certificate.
- Exhibits strong and proactive decision-making skills.
- Demonstrates Jet Linx’s core values in all interactions.
Other Requirements:
- Initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.
- Must possess the ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license.
- Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Must possess a valid, current passport.
- Must hold or be able to obtain an ATP certification.
- Must hold a current First Class Medical certificate.
- Must possess an FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and be subject to random drug/alcohol testing.
- Must have the unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
- Must be able to successfully complete an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must hold a Bachelor’s degree or have equivalent work experience.
- The position requires work completed in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
- Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
