Second in Command (SIC) - Heavy Jet Aircraft

Jet Linx invites applications from highly qualified aviation professionals for the position of Second in Command (SIC) for its Heavy jet aircraft fleet. This pivotal role supports Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. Ideal candidates must reside, or be willing to relocate, within a two-hour call-out radius of the designated home base, KFCM.

Position Summary

The Second in Command (SIC) reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot. The SIC is instrumental in preparing and ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of company aircraft. Responsibilities include strict adherence to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and established company procedures, contributing to the highest standards of operational excellence.

Minimum Requirements

Qualified applicants for the Second in Command position must possess the following flight experience and skills:

• Total Time: 2500 hours
• Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 500 hours
• Turbine Time: 100 hours
• Instrument Time: 150 hours
• Multi-Engine Time: 500 hours
• Demonstrated strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proven ability in proactive decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

• Candidates with initial or recurrent FAA Part 142 training in type within the last 24 months are highly preferred.

To be considered for this role, candidates must also meet the following:

• Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Possession of a current passport.
• Possess an FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate, or the ability to obtain one.
• Hold a current FAA First Class Medical certificate.
• Possess an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
