Jet Linx Second in Command (SIC) Position
Jet Linx is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Second in Command (SIC) to join our team of aviation professionals. This role will support the safe and efficient operation of our Light Jet aircraft for both Part 91 and 135 flight operations. The ideal candidate will reside, or be willing to relocate, within a two-hour call-out timeframe of their designated home base.
Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot, the SIC plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and compliant execution of all flight operations. This includes meticulously preparing for flights, adhering to rigorous Federal Aviation Regulations, and strictly following company procedures.
Essential Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
- Total Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2,000 hours
- Total Time in Type: 250 hours
- Total PIC Time in Type: 250 hours
- Total Multi-Engine Time: 1,500 hours
- Total Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Total Turbine Time: 500 hours
- Total Instrument Time: 300 hours
Additional Qualifications:
- Recent completion of initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the past 24 months is highly preferred.
- Possessing a valid U.S. driver's license is mandatory.
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
- A current passport is essential for international travel.
- An Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate, or the ability to obtain one, is a requirement.
- A First Class Medical Certificate is mandatory.
- A valid FCC Restricted Radio License is necessary for communication during flights.
- The candidate must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and comply with random drug/alcohol testing as mandated by the company.
- Unrestricted travel authorization to Canada and Caribbean countries is essential for the position.
