Airline Pilot

The airline pilot is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of aircraft, adhering to the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This individual determines optimal departure times and routes, making critical decisions regarding flight cancellations based on prevailing weather conditions or other pertinent factors. The pilot ensures strict compliance with all applicable federal, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures throughout the flight.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with appropriate Aircraft Type Rating is required.
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
  • A minimum of 4,000 hours of total fixed-wing flight time is necessary.
  • Applicant must have a minimum of 1,500 hours of multi-engine land flight time.
  • A minimum of 2,000 hours of Pilot-in-Command experience is essential.
