This vital role complements an existing full-time crew member and may be supplemented by contractors as operational needs dictate. Essential Responsibilities and Duties
The Corporate Flight Attendant will be responsible for a comprehensive range of duties, including but not limited to:
- Providing an exceptional level of personalized service to clients, prioritizing the safety, security, and comfort of all passengers throughout the flight.
- Expertly managing and assisting passengers during emergency situations, including the administration of basic first aid, CPR, and AED.
- Ensuring meticulous cabin security and adherence to all federal aviation regulations prior to departure and arrival.
- Proactively reassuring passengers and maintaining a calm environment during unforeseen circumstances such as turbulence.
- Conducting thorough pre-flight briefings for passengers.
- Managing and verifying the inventory of essential in-flight supplies, including culinary provisions, beverages, comfort items, reading materials, and emergency equipment, ensuring sufficiency for each flight's specific requirements.
- Procuring and provisioning bespoke items requested by passengers to enhance their flight experience.
- Performing detailed inspections, cleaning, and stocking of the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each flight segment, ensuring the aircraft is impeccably prepared for subsequent operations.
- Executing regular cabin checks to uphold passenger comfort and maintain pristine cabin conditions.
- Diligently completing all requisite pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight documentation and paperwork.
- Operating advanced audio and video cabin management systems.
Qualifications
Candidates must possess an exemplary record and demonstrate the following qualifications:
- Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
- Valid First Aid Training Certification, including CPR and AED.
- A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant, with seven (7) or more years preferred.
- Completion of flight attendant-specific training from recognized institutions such as FlightSafety, FACTs, or equivalent programs is highly preferred. Annual recurrent training is mandatory.
- Applicants lacking formal initial flight attendant training may be considered based on exceptional alternative qualifications but must complete initial training prior to flight assignment.
- Strong preference will be given to candidates who have completed FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar recurrent training within the preceding 12 months.
- Demonstrated technological proficiency, particularly with Cabin Management Systems (CMS), galley equipment, and all cabin features (e.g., berthing seats, divan configuration).
- Exceptional flexibility, adaptability, and patience to navigate a dynamic and frequently changing flight schedule, including late-night operations and short-notice deployments (e.g., 2-3 hour standby response).
- Unrestricted global travel capability, including appropriate health and visa status for international deployments of up to 16 consecutive days.
- Superior culinary skills, complemented by formal culinary-specific training, coupled with a passion for exceptional food and beverage service.
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service acumen, with a meticulous attention to detail.
- A college degree is preferred.
Physical Requirements
The role requires the ability to meet the following physical demands:
- Vision: Correctable vision of 20/20 or better with corrective lenses; uncorrected vision no worse than 20/20. Capability to read reports, charts, manage paperwork, and proficiently utilize electronic devices (e.g., computer, smartphone, tablet).
- Hearing & Speech: Clear verbal communication skills and adequate hearing to effectively engage with passengers, colleagues, and pilots, including during active flight operations.
- Mobility & Stamina: Ability to stand and walk unassisted for extended periods, potentially up to 14 hours with limited sitting. Capacity to work long hours in diverse climatic conditions.
- Dexterity & Range of Motion: Proficiently kneel, stoop, and bend to access luggage compartments and maneuver within the aircraft's confined spaces.
- Strength & Manual Dexterity: Sufficient physical strength to operate the main cabin door (requiring up to 130 lbs of force). Ability to perform tasks requiring fine motor skills such as writing, typing, operating galley equipment, and preparing/serving food and beverages. Capability to repeatedly lift supplies weighing 25-30 pounds from floor level to waist height.
