Position Overview
Solairus Aviation is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Full-Time Corporate Flight Attendant for a Gulfstream G650 / G500 operation based at KFRG in Farmingdale, NY. This critical role ensures the safety, comfort, and an unparalleled service experience for all passengers during private jet travel. The successful candidate will complement an existing full-time flight attendant, with additional contractor support utilized as needed. A profound passion for culinary arts, coupled with significant culinary experience, is essential; advanced culinary training is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
The Corporate Flight Attendant will perform a comprehensive range of duties, including but not limited to:
- Delivering an unparalleled level of personalized service to clients, prioritizing the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout the flight.
- Directing and assisting passengers effectively during emergency situations.
- Administering basic first aid, including CPR and AED, to passengers in distress.
- Ensuring meticulous cabin security and compliance with federal aviation regulations prior to take-off and landing.
- Providing reassuring support to passengers during turbulence or other unsettling flight conditions.
- Conducting thorough pre-flight briefings for passengers.
- Managing and ensuring the adequate stocking of all onboard supplies, including food, beverages, blankets, reading materials, and emergency equipment, tailored to the specific trip and passenger count.
- Procuring specially requested items by passengers for their flights.
- Maintaining the pristine condition of the aircraft by meticulously inspecting, cleaning, and stocking the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each leg.
- Ensuring the aircraft is consistently prepared, cleaned, and stocked for subsequent flights.
- Performing periodic cabin checks to uphold passenger comfort and cleanliness standards.
- Completing all necessary pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight documentation accurately.
- Operating all onboard audio and video systems.
- Operating all features of the Cabin Management Systems (CMS), galley equipment, and cabin configurations (e.g., berthing seats, divan-to-bed conversion).
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
- Current First Aid Training Certification, including CPR and AED.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant, with seven (7) or more years preferred.
- Formal flight attendant-specific training from reputable institutions such as FlightSafety or FACTs is highly preferred; annual recurrent training is mandatory. Candidates without formal initial training may be considered based on extensive experience but must complete initial flight attendant training prior to flight assignment.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have completed FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar training within the past 12 months.
- Proficiency in modern technology and cabin management systems.
- Exceptional flexibility, patience, and adaptability to dynamic schedules.
- Demonstrated culinary skills and specialized culinary training.
- Ability to manage constantly changing schedules, including late-night flights and short-notice deployments (2-3 hour response time when on standby).
- Unrestricted ability to travel worldwide, considering health and visa status.
- Capable of deploying for up to 16 consecutive days.
- Superior interpersonal and customer service skills.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational acumen.
- A college degree is preferred.
Physical Requirements
Candidates must meet the following physical standards to perform the essential functions of the role:
- Vision: Correctable to 20/20 or better with glasses or contact lenses; uncorrected vision no worse than 20/20. Ability to read reports, charts, manage paperwork, and proficiently use electronic devices (computer, smartphone, iPad).
- Hearing/Speaking: Clear verbal communication is essential. Adequate hearing to communicate effectively over the phone and in person with clients, co-workers, and pilots, including during in-flight conditions.
- Standing/Walking: Physically capable of walking and standing without assistance for extended periods, up to 14 hours with limited sitting ability. Ability to work long hours in diverse climates.
- Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling/Bending: Ability to kneel to load supplies and luggage in compartments, and maneuver efficiently within tight aircraft confinements.
- Fingering/Grasping/Feeling/Strength: Ability to push/pull the main cabin door (up to 130 lbs), write, type, use electronic devices, and prepare/cook/serve food and beverages. Capable of lifting supplies weighing approximately 25 to 30 pounds repeatedly from floor level to waist height.

Solairus Aviation's crewmember compensation is competitive and varies based on market conditions, geographic area, experience, aircraft type, specific job duties, and assigned account. The estimated salary range for Solairus crewmembers is $50,000 to $500,000 annually, reflecting the broad range of factors influencing individual compensation.
