Jet Aviation Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Captain to join a prestigious flight operation based in Sun Valley, ID. This is a full-time, onsite professional position within Flight Services.

Position Summary:
The Lead Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a Falcon 7X/8X aircraft, ensuring the highest level of service for the aircraft owner and passengers. The role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional capable of leading a flight crew, maintaining strict compliance with all regulations, and providing an exceptional service experience. This position involves close coordination with the family office and management company. The Lead Captain will also act as a mentor to other crew members, fostering a positive and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate the aircraft, determining optimal departure times and routes, while maintaining constant communication with the family office and owner.
- Ensure the aircraft is always owner-ready, with a keen awareness of real-time travel needs.
- Maintain complete compliance with all federal, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate aircraft schedules and crew training.
- Proactively communicate potential issues or opportunities.
- Collaborate with maintenance personnel to ensure all aircraft maintenance events are completed.
- Ensure meticulous and accurate completion of all trip paperwork.
- Ensure a thorough understanding with the Second in Command on all aspects of the flight.
- Lead the flight department crew to achieve goals, while fostering high morale.
- Verify the flight crew is fit for duty and reports in proper attire.
- Ensure that all missions are staffed and all trip logistics are arranged.
- Mentor and coach crew members to assist in their professional development.
- Conduct annual performance reviews for assigned crew members.
- Assist the flight department account manager and aid in hiring flight crew.
- Fulfill manager responsibilities as required.
- Complete other duties as expected by the aircraft owner or family office.
- Complete flight planning, performance, and weight and balance tasks.
- Utilize TPC briefing methodology to mitigate operational risks.
- Analyze charts for the airport of intended landing and alternates.
- Implement all changes required by enroute conditions.
- Act as Ground and In-Flight Security Coordinator.
- Maintain complete knowledge of all aircraft systems.
- Complete all aircraft pre-flight tasks and record any discrepancies.
- Ensure all aircraft ground servicing items are accomplished.
- Provide passenger briefings and deliver the highest level of customer service.
- Utilize CRM and TEM to communicate with crew and support personnel.
- Actively support the open sharing of safety information.
- Train the Second in Command to prepare them to assume Pilot in Command duties.
- Secure the aircraft after each flight.
- Provide quality service while enhancing the onboard service experience.
- Act as the primary contact for all owner missions.
- Lead crew members and operating partners to provide consistent service.
- Ensure all regulatory and company-required training is completed.
- Maintain compliance with company's Safety Management System (SMS) program.
- Ensure all crewmembers remain qualified to act in their assigned capacity.
- Ensure all crewmembers comply with company policies and regulatory protocols.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with appropriate Aircraft Type Rating.
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- 4500 hours Total Fixed Wing flight time.
- 1500 hours Multi-Engine Land flight time.
- 2000 hours Pilot-in-Command flight time.
- 1500 hours Turbojet flight time.
- 1500 hours Turbine time.
- 100 hours Night flight time.
- Five years of aviation experience.
- Ability to work flexible schedules.
- Willingness to travel worldwide without restrictions.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
