Position Summary
Reporting to the Regional Chief Pilot, the Lead Captain is entrusted with upholding the highest safety and operational standards while fostering a culture of professionalism and excellence within the flight crew. This role demands a strong command of aviation regulations, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional leadership qualities.
Responsibilities
As Lead Captain, you will be responsible for:
- Safe and Efficient Flight Operations: Ensure the safe and efficient execution of all assigned flights, exercising final authority as Pilot in Command.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain unwavering adherence to all federal, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Flight Scheduling & Coordination: Collaborate with the flight crew, Customer Service Representatives, and Maintenance Manager to ensure seamless aircraft scheduling, training, and maintenance.
- Crew Management & Development: Oversee crew member training, performance reviews, and professional development. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Safety & Risk Management: Promote a proactive safety culture by identifying and mitigating potential hazards, reporting safety concerns, and ensuring thorough pre-flight inspections.
- Communication & Reporting: Maintain clear and timely communication with all stakeholders, including crew members, operations control, and maintenance personnel. Accurately complete all required flight documentation.
Qualifications
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP) with a valid Falcon 7X type rating
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- Minimum flight experience:
- 4000 hours Total Fixed Wing
- 1500 hours Multi-Engine Land
- 2000 hours Pilot-in-Command
- 1500 hours Turbojet
- 1500 hours Turbine time
- 100 hours Night
- 75 hours Actual or Simulated Instrument
- 5+ years of aviation experience
- Willingness to travel extensively worldwide without restrictions
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
