Captain – Falcon 2000 Classic (Naples, FL)

As a Captain, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a Falcon 2000 Classic aircraft, ensuring the highest standards of safety, security, and quality. You will exercise command authority over all flights assigned and serve as the ultimate authority for flight safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate the aircraft, including determining departure times, routes, and flight cancellations based on weather conditions or other factors.
- Ensure strict compliance with all federal, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Implement necessary changes en route to maintain flight operations within company guidelines.
- Conduct all flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to industry and company standards.
- Accurately complete all flight paperwork in accordance with current procedures.
- Maintain open communication with the co-pilot regarding all aspects of the flight.
- Record all aircraft discrepancies on the log and promptly report them to the Director of Maintenance or their designee.
- Determine the flight crew’s fitness for duty, ensuring appropriate attire and physical and mental well-being.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of all aircraft systems, including emergency procedures.
- Secure the aircraft after each flight, including arranging hangar storage as needed.
- Obtain up-to-date weather reports, forecasts, and NOTAMs from authorized sources.
- File or ensure the filing of flight plans with the FAA or ICAO ATC facility.
- Analyze area, enroute, and terminal charts for the intended landing airport and alternates.
- Perform the role of the In TSA Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) under the provisions of the 125 Standard Security Program or Private Charter Standard Security Program, as applicable.
- Conduct passenger safety briefings or assign that duty to the co-pilot.
- Mentor and train the co-pilot to assume the duties of Pilot in Command in an emergency or during their transition to pilot in command.
- Submit the leg manifest to ops control prior to each departure.
- Complete and submit the End of Day (EOD) report to ops control upon completion of each flight day.
- Actively participate in the open sharing of information on all safety issues and report any safety hazards or concerns.
- Immediately report any hazardous action, conduct, or event to the chief pilot and director of safety.
- Represent Jet Aviation internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network.
Minimum Requirements:
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with appropriate Aircraft Type Rating.
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- 4000 hours Total Fixed Wing.
- 1500 hours Multi-Engine Land.
- 2000 hours Pilot-in-Command.
- 1500 hours Turbojet.
- 1500 hours Turbine time.
- 100 hours Night.
- 75 hours Actual or Simulated Instrument.
- 5 years of aviation experience.
- Ability to work flexible schedules.
- Willing and able to travel worldwide extensively, without any restrictions.
- Valid driver’s license.
