  • Expert Credentials: Possesses an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and a valid FAA First Class Medical certificate.
  • Proven Flight Experience: Amassed a minimum of 3,500 hours of total fixed-wing flight time, including 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command, 1,500 hours multi-engine, 500 hours turbojet, 500 hours turbine, 100 hours night, and 75 hours of Simulated Instrument flight time.
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to a variable schedule to accommodate diverse flight mission requirements.
  • Global Readiness: Willingness and ability to travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.
  • Educational Foundation: Holds a high school diploma.
  • Licensing: Possesses a valid driver's license.
  • Aircraft Specifics: Holds the appropriate Aircraft Type Rating and Currency for the Gulfstream 280.

Key Responsibilities

The Captain will be responsible for:

  • Flight Command: Assuming command of all assigned flights, making critical decisions to ensure safety and adherence to federal, local, and company regulations.
  • Operational Precision: Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems to ensure precise operation, effective flight plan management, and adaptation to changing conditions for a seamless travel experience.
  • Crew Collaboration and Mentorship: Working closely with the Second in Command, sharing knowledge and skills to foster their development for future leadership roles.
  • Safety Advocacy: Performing In-TSA Flight Security Coordinator functions as per applicable security programs. Conducting passenger safety briefings or delegating this duty. Actively promoting open communication regarding safety, reporting hazards, and upholding Jet Aviation's commitment to a secure environment. Documenting and reporting all aircraft discrepancies promptly.
  • Administrative Management: Overseeing trip documentation, maintaining aircraft manuals, and completing accurate trip paperwork in accordance with company procedures.
  • Brand Representation: Serving as a visible representative of Jet Aviation, demonstrating professionalism and dedication to the company's mission of delivering exceptional service.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This role involves:

  • Physical Demands: Performing tasks that require regular use of hands, standing, walking, and sitting, with occasional climbing, kneeling, or crouching. Frequent lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting. Maintaining sharp visual acuity across various distances and depths.
  • Diverse Settings: Operating within a range of environments, from heavy maintenance areas to sophisticated customer spaces. Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is $230,000 to $250,000 annually. This range is not a guaranteed offer; the final salary will be determined based on candidate experience, geographic location, and other relevant factors.
