Third Pilot – BD-700 – International Operations
Jet Aviation, a global leader in aviation services since 1967, seeks a highly skilled and experienced Third Pilot for a Part 91 account operating a BD-700 aircraft. This role requires international experience and relocation. The successful candidate will report to the Lead Captain and will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of all assigned flights. This individual will exercise Pilot-in-Command authority, maintaining the highest standards of safety, security, and quality.
Minimum Requirements:
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with appropriate Aircraft Type Rating.
- Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
- 4000 hours Total Fixed Wing Flight Time.
- 1500 hours Multi-Engine Land Flight Time.
- 2000 hours Pilot-in-Command Time.
- 1500 hours Turbojet Flight Time.
- 1500 hours Turbine Time.
- 100 hours Night Flight Time.
- 75 hours Actual or Simulated Instrument Flight Time.
- 5 years of aviation experience.
- Ability to work flexible schedules.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively worldwide without restriction.
- Valid driver's license.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Safe aircraft operation, including determining departure times, routes, and flight cancellations based on weather or other conditions.
- Strict adherence to all federal, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Implementation of necessary en-route adjustments to ensure flight safety and compliance.
- Conduct of flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to industry and company best practices.
- Accurate completion of all flight paperwork according to established procedures.
- Thorough briefing and communication with the Second-in-Command on all aspects of the flight.
- Accurate recording and reporting of aircraft discrepancies to the Director of Maintenance.
- Verification of flight crew fitness for duty.
- Comprehensive understanding of all aircraft systems, including emergency procedures.
- Secure aircraft post-flight, including arranging hangar storage as needed.
- Acquisition of current weather reports, forecasts, and NOTAMs from authorized sources.
- Filing of flight plans with appropriate aviation authorities (FAA or ICAO).
- Analysis of area, en-route, and terminal charts for the destination and alternate airports.
- Functioning as the In-Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) as per applicable security programs.
- Conducting or assigning passenger safety briefings.
- Mentoring the Second-in-Command to prepare them for Pilot-in-Command duties.
- Timely submission of leg manifests and end-of-day reports to operations control.
- Active participation in safety reporting and hazard identification.
- Immediate reporting of hazardous actions, conduct, or events to the Chief Pilot and Director of Safety.
- Delegation of duties while retaining ultimate responsibility.
- Performance of other duties as assigned.
- Representing Jet Aviation internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $250,000.00 - $275,000.00 (regional location may affect final compensation; premiums not included).
