BBJ NG Captain (Hong Kong-Based)
Jet Aviation, a global leader in aviation services, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled BBJ NG Captain to join its Flight Operations team in Hong Kong. As a BBJ NG Captain, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of Boeing business jets based in Hong Kong. This position reports directly to the Director Flight Operations, and you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of flight safety and operational procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Safety: Prioritize the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard, adhering to strict operational procedures and checklists as outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Flight Operations: Ensure that all crew members are at their designated stations before take-off, final approach, and landing. Maintain precise navigation, observe minimum altitudes, and enforce the use of checklists.
- Aircraft Management: Observe limitations of all aircraft systems and ensure their proper use and handling.
- Crew Coordination: Effectively coordinate workload distribution amongst the flight crew to optimize airmanship and flight conduct.
- Fuel Management: Maintain sufficient usable fuel to reach an airport for a safe landing, with final reserve fuel remaining.
- Passenger Briefing: Ensure that all passengers are briefed on the location of emergency exits and the location and use of relevant safety and emergency equipment.
- Communication and Documentation: Maintain close communication with the cabin crew to ensure cabin safety requirements are met. Complete flight and technical logs and file written occurrence and accident reports as necessary.
- Compliance and Regulations: Maintain familiarity with relevant aviation regulations, JBJH/JBJS operations manual, and agreed aviation practices. Adhere to all regulations contained in the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Professionalism: Maintain a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of Jet Aviation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current on type BBJ NG / Max 8.
- FAA/EASA license is preferred.
- Experience in private jet operations.
