BBJ NG Captain (Hong Kong-Based)
Jet Aviation, a global leader in aviation services, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced BBJ NG Captain to join its Flight Operations team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will contribute to the team's mission of delivering the smoothest flight experiences for our clients, operating a fleet of Boeing aircraft based in Hong Kong. This role reports directly to the Director of Flight Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard.
- Operational Adherence: Maintain strict compliance with all operational procedures, checklists, and regulations outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Crew Management: Ensure all crew members are appropriately positioned and prepared for critical phases of flight (take-off, initial climb, final approach, and landing).
- Flight Execution: Coordinate crew duties to maximize airmanship and ensure precise navigation, adherence to minimum altitudes, and proper aircraft systems usage.
- Checklist Adherence: Enforce rigorous adherence to all checklists.
- Fuel Management: Ensure sufficient fuel remains for safe flight to an alternate landing site, including final reserve fuel.
- Communication and Coordination: Maintain close communication with the cabin crew to ensure adherence to cabin safety requirements.
- Documentation: Complete flight and technical logs accurately and promptly.
- Incident Reporting: File comprehensive written occurrence and accident reports as required.
- Aviation Expertise: Maintain a strong understanding of relevant aviation regulations, JBJH/JBJS operations manual, and industry best practices.
- Professionalism: Maintain a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a company representative.
- Passenger Briefing: Brief passengers on the location of emergency exits and the proper use of safety and emergency equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current on type BBJ NG / Max 8
- FAA/EASA license preferred
- Significant experience operating private jets
