BBJ NG Captain (Hong Kong-Based)
Jet Aviation, a global leader in aviation services since 1967, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced BBJ NG Captain to join our Flight Operations team in Hong Kong.
As a vital member of our team, the Captain will be responsible for supporting aircraft operations, upholding the highest standards of flight safety and operational procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional professional service to our esteemed clients.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard.
- Ensure strict adherence to all operational procedures and checklists outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Verify that all crew members are securely positioned at their stations prior to take-off, final approach, and landing.
- Prohibit any crew member from engaging in activities during take-off, initial climb, final approach, and landing, except for those duties essential to the safe operation of the aircraft.
- Prevent any alteration or erasure of flight data and/or cockpit voice recorder data, unless absolutely necessary for the investigation of an incident or accident and the data would otherwise be automatically erased.
- Coordinate work distribution amongst the flight crew to maximize good airmanship and ensure a smooth flight experience.
- Maintain precise navigation and adherence to minimum altitudes.
- Observe limitations of all aircraft systems and ensure their proper use and handling.
- Enforce strict adherence to checklists.
- Guarantee sufficient usable fuel remains to safely reach an airport for landing, with final reserve fuel remaining.
- Maintain close communication with the cabin crew to ensure adherence to all cabin safety requirements.
- Complete flight and technical logs accurately.
- File written occurrence and accident reports when required.
- Maintain familiarity with relevant aviation regulations, JBJH/JBJS operations manual, and agreed aviation practices to fulfill responsibilities effectively.
- Maintain a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of Jet Aviation.
- Ensure compliance with regulations outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Brief all passengers on the location of emergency exits and the location and use of relevant safety and emergency equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current on type BBJ NG/Max 8
- FAA/EASA license preferred
- Experience in private jet operations
