BBJ NG Captain (Hong Kong-based)
Jet Aviation, a leading global aviation services provider with a rich history spanning over five decades, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced BBJ NG Captain to join our Flight Operations team in Hong Kong.
As a BBJ NG Captain, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft, providing exceptional service to our discerning clientele. Reporting to the Director Flight Operations, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of flight safety and operational procedures, adhering to all relevant regulations, and upholding the esteemed reputation of Jet Aviation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard the aircraft at all times.
- Adherence to Standards: Rigorously adhere to all operational procedures and checklists outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Crew Management: Ensure all crew members are in their designated positions prior to takeoff, final approach, and landing, and prohibit any non-essential activities during these critical phases.
- Data Integrity: Maintain the integrity of flight data and cockpit voice recorder recordings, ensuring they are not disabled or erased unless absolutely necessary for incident or accident investigation.
- Flight Coordination: Collaborate effectively with the flight crew to ensure optimal airmanship throughout the flight.
- Precision Navigation: Maintain precise navigation and adhere to minimum altitude requirements.
- Aircraft Systems Management: Closely monitor all aircraft systems, ensuring their proper use and handling.
- Checklist Adherence: Enforce the strict and consistent use of all checklists.
- Fuel Management: Ensure sufficient usable fuel remains to reach a safe landing airport, with adequate final reserve fuel.
- Cabin Crew Coordination: Maintain open communication with the cabin crew to ensure adherence to all cabin safety requirements.
- Log Maintenance: Thoroughly complete all flight and technical logs.
- Incident Reporting: Submit written occurrence and accident reports when necessary.
- Regulatory Compliance: Remain familiar with all relevant aviation regulations, JBJH/JBJS Operations Manual, and established aviation practices.
- Professional Conduct: Maintain the highest standards of discipline, conduct, and appearance, reflecting the company's commitment to excellence.
- Passenger Briefing: Ensure all passengers are briefed on the location of emergency exits and the use of safety and emergency equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current type rating on BBJ NG / Max 8.
- FAA/EASA license is preferred.
- Significant experience in private jet operations.
