BBJ NG Captain (Hong Kong-Based)
Jet Aviation, a global leader in aviation services with a rich history dating back to 1967, seeks a highly skilled and experienced BBJ NG Captain to join its Flight Operations team in Hong Kong.
The Role:
The BBJ NG Captain plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of aircraft, upholding the highest standards of flight safety and operational procedures. This position reports to the Director Flight Operations and focuses on Boeing fleets based in Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard.
- Adhere strictly to operational procedures and checklists as outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Ensure all crew members are at their designated stations prior to takeoff, final approach, and landing.
- Enforce a strict no-activity policy during takeoff, initial climb, final approach, and landing except for duties essential to the aircraft's safe operation.
- Maintain flight data and/or cockpit voice recorder integrity, only allowing erasure for incident/accident investigations.
- Coordinate work distribution within the flight crew to optimize airmanship and flight execution.
- Ensure precise navigation and strict adherence to minimum altitudes.
- Observe aircraft systems limitations and ensure proper use and handling of the aircraft.
- Enforce the rigorous use of checklists.
- Guarantee sufficient usable fuel remains for safe landing at an appropriate airport with final reserve fuel remaining.
- Maintain close communication with the cabin crew to ensure adherence to all cabin safety protocols.
- Ensure complete and accurate flight and technical logs.
- File comprehensive occurrence and accident reports as needed.
- Maintain familiarity with relevant aviation regulations, JBJH/JBJS operations manual, and agreed aviation practices to effectively fulfill job responsibilities.
- Uphold a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of Jet Aviation.
- Comply with regulations outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Brief all passengers on the location of emergency exits and the location and use of safety and emergency equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current on type BBJ NG / Max 8.
- FAA/EASA license preferred.
- Proven experience in private jet operations.
