Global XRS Captain - Jet Aviation Business Jets (Hong Kong) Limited
Jet Aviation, a global leader in aviation services, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global XRS Captain to join its Flight Operations team in Hong Kong. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the seamless and safe operation of Jet Aviation's fleet while working within a diverse and dynamic international team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard. This encompasses strict adherence to all operational procedures and checklists as outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Maintain a vigilant presence in the cockpit. This includes ensuring that all crew members are in their assigned positions prior to takeoff, final approach, and landing. Furthermore, the Captain will ensure no crew member engages in non-essential activities during these critical phases of flight.
- Uphold data integrity. The Captain is responsible for preventing the disabling or erasure of flight data and cockpit voice recorder data, unless it is absolutely necessary for the investigation of an incident or accident and data erasure is unavoidable.
- Lead the flight crew. The Captain will coordinate and distribute tasks among the crew to ensure the highest level of airmanship and safety during the flight.
- Maintain accurate navigation and adherence to minimum altitudes. The Captain will ensure the aircraft navigates precisely and adheres to all minimum altitude requirements.
- Monitor aircraft systems and ensure proper handling. The Captain is responsible for observing the limitations of all aircraft systems and ensuring their appropriate operation and handling throughout the flight.
- Enforce the strict use of checklists. The Captain will maintain a culture of rigorous adherence to all relevant checklists.
- Manage fuel reserves. The Captain will ensure that the aircraft maintains sufficient fuel reserves to proceed to an airport where a safe landing can be made, with final reserve fuel remaining.
- Collaborate with the cabin crew. The Captain will maintain close communication with the cabin crew to ensure that all requirements concerning cabin safety are consistently followed.
- Complete flight and technical logs. The Captain will accurately and thoroughly complete all flight and technical logs.
- File reports as necessary. The Captain will file written occurrence and accident reports as required.
- Stay informed about regulations and best practices. The Captain will maintain a high level of familiarity with relevant aviation regulations, JBJH/JBJS operations manual, and agreed aviation practices to fulfill their responsibilities.
- Represent the company professionally. The Captain will uphold a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of Jet Aviation.
- Adhere to operational guidelines. The Captain will comply with all regulations outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Provide passenger briefings. The Captain will ensure that all passengers receive clear and comprehensive briefings on the location of emergency exits and the location and use of relevant safety and emergency equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current on type Bombardier Global XRS
- 500 hours on type
- AOC Operation experience
- Willingness to relocate to Hong Kong
