BBJ NG Captain (Hong Kong-based)
Jet Aviation, a leading global provider of aviation services with a rich history dating back to 1967, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced BBJ NG Captain to join its Flight Operations team in Hong Kong.
The Role:
The Captain plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and smooth operation of aircraft, maintaining the highest standards of flight safety and compliance with all relevant regulations. This position reports directly to the Director of Flight Operations and focuses primarily on Boeing fleets based in Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
- Safety First: Prioritize the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard.
- Operational Excellence: Adhere strictly to all operational procedures and checklists outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Crew Management: Ensure all crew members are properly stationed during take-off, final approach, and landing, and are prohibited from performing non-essential tasks during these critical phases of flight.
- Flight Data Integrity: Maintain the integrity of flight data and cockpit voice recorders, ensuring they are not disabled or erased without proper justification, such as investigations of incidents or accidents.
- Effective Teamwork: Coordinate effectively with the flight crew to maximize airmanship and ensure a seamless flight experience.
- Precision Navigation: Maintain accurate navigation and observe minimum altitudes throughout the flight.
- Aircraft Systems Proficiency: Understand and comply with the limitations of all aircraft systems, ensuring proper handling and usage.
- Checklists and Procedures: Enforce the strict use of checklists and adhere to established operational procedures.
- Fuel Management: Ensure sufficient usable fuel remains for a safe landing at an appropriate airport, including adequate reserve fuel.
- Cabin Crew Coordination: Maintain close communication with the cabin crew to ensure all cabin safety requirements are met.
- Documentation and Reporting: Complete flight and technical logs meticulously and file written occurrence and accident reports when necessary.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain familiarity with relevant aviation regulations, JBJH/JBJS operations manual, and agreed aviation practices to effectively execute the role.
- Professionalism: Maintain a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of Jet Aviation.
- Passenger Briefing: Ensure all passengers are informed about the location of emergency exits and the proper use of safety and emergency equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current on type BBJ NG / Max 8
- FAA/EASA license is preferred
- Proven experience in private jet operations
