Role Description
As a BBJ NG Captain, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft, adhering to the highest standards of flight safety and operational procedures. Reporting to the Director Flight Operations, you will primarily be responsible for operating Boeing fleets based in Hong Kong.
Responsibilities
- Safety First: Prioritize the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard at all times.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all operational procedures, checklists, and regulatory requirements outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Crew Management: Coordinate work distribution among the flight crew to maximize good airmanship and operational efficiency.
- Navigation and Altitudes: Maintain precise navigation and adhere to minimum altitude requirements.
- Aircraft Systems: Observe and utilize all aircraft systems proficiently, ensuring safe handling and operation.
- Checklists: Enforce the strict use of checklists for all critical flight phases.
- Fuel Management: Monitor fuel levels and ensure sufficient remaining fuel to reach a safe landing destination, including final reserve fuel.
- Cabin Coordination: Maintain open communication with the cabin crew to guarantee compliance with cabin safety protocols.
- Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely completion of flight and technical logs.
- Incident Reporting: File written occurrence and accident reports when necessary.
- Regulations and Practices: Stay current with relevant aviation regulations, JBJH/JBJS operations manual, and industry best practices.
- Professional Conduct: Maintain a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of Jet Aviation.
- Passenger Briefings: Inform passengers about emergency exit locations and the use of safety and emergency equipment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Current on Type: Current on type BBJ NG / Max 8.
- License: FAA/EASA license preferred.
- Private Jet Experience: Proven experience operating private jets.
