Global XRS Captain (Hong Kong-based)
Jet Aviation, a global leader in aviation services since 1967, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bombardier Global XRS Captain to join its Flight Operations team in Hong Kong. As a member of this dedicated team, the Captain will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft, exceeding the expectations of our valued clientele.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo on board.
- Adhere to all operational procedures and checklists outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Ensure that all crew members are at their designated stations before takeoff, final approach, and landing.
- Prohibit crew members from engaging in activities during takeoff, initial climb, final approach, and landing, except for those essential to the safe operation of the aircraft.
- Maintain the integrity of flight data and cockpit voice recordings, ensuring they are not disabled or erased unless required for incident or accident investigations.
- Effectively coordinate workload distribution among the flight crew to promote optimal airmanship.
- Ensure precise navigation and adherence to minimum altitude requirements.
- Understand and respect the limitations of all aircraft systems, employing proper use and handling techniques.
- Uphold rigorous adherence to checklists throughout the flight.
- Monitor fuel levels and ensure sufficient remaining fuel for safe landing at a suitable airport, with adequate final reserve fuel.
- Maintain open communication with the cabin crew to confirm adherence to all cabin safety requirements.
- Complete flight and technical logs accurately and thoroughly.
- File detailed occurrence and accident reports as needed.
- Stay current on relevant aviation regulations, JBJH/JBJS operations manuals, and industry best practices to effectively fulfill their duties.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism, conduct, and appearance as a representative of Jet Aviation.
- Comply fully with regulations outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Provide clear and comprehensive safety briefings to passengers, highlighting the location of emergency exits and the proper use of safety and emergency equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current on type Bombardier Global XRS.
- 500 hours on type.
- Experience with AOC Operations.
- Willingness to relocate to Hong Kong.
