Global XRS Captain (Hong Kong-Based)
Jet Aviation, a leading provider of aviation services with a rich history spanning over 50 years, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global XRS Captain to join its Flight Operations team in Hong Kong. Responsibilities:
- Prioritize the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard.
- Adhere strictly to all operational procedures and checklists outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Ensure all crew members are at their designated stations prior to take-off, final approach, and landing.
- Prohibit any crew member from performing activities during take-off, initial climb, final approach, and landing, except for duties essential to the safe operation of the aircraft.
- Maintain the integrity of flight data and cockpit voice recorder recordings, preventing any unauthorized disabling or erasure except in cases requiring data preservation for incident or accident investigations.
- Optimize flight crew coordination to enhance airmanship and ensure the smooth conduct of the flight.
- Maintain precise navigation and adhere to minimum altitude requirements.
- Monitor the performance of all aircraft systems, ensuring their proper use and handling.
- Enforce rigorous adherence to all checklists.
- Monitor fuel levels, ensuring sufficient fuel remains to safely proceed to an airport for landing with adequate final reserve fuel.
- Maintain close communication with the cabin crew to ensure adherence to all cabin safety requirements.
- Complete flight and technical logs accurately.
- Prepare written occurrence and accident reports as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant aviation regulations, JBJH/JBJS operations manual, and established aviation practices to fulfill the role's requirements.
- Uphold a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a company representative.
- Comply with all regulations outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Ensure all passengers are briefed on the location of emergency exits and the use of relevant safety and emergency equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current type rating on the Bombardier Global XRS aircraft.
- A minimum of 500 hours of flight time on the Global XRS.
- AOC Operations experience.
- Willingness to relocate to Hong Kong.
