BBJ NG Captain (Hong Kong-based)
Jet Aviation, a global leader in aviation services since 1967, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced BBJ NG Captain to join its Flight Operations team in Hong Kong. This position reports to the Director of Flight Operations and will focus on operating Boeing fleets based in Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard.
- Ensure strict adherence to all operational procedures and checklists outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Supervise crew members to ensure they occupy their designated stations prior to takeoff, final approach, and landing.
- Prohibit any crew member from performing activities during takeoff, initial climb, final approach, and landing, except for those essential to the safe operation of the aircraft.
- Prevent the disabling or erasing of flight data and/or cockpit voice recorder, except when data conservation is required for incident or accident investigation.
- Effectively coordinate work distribution among the flight crew to optimize airmanship during flight operations.
- Ensure precise navigation and adherence to minimum altitude requirements.
- Understand and observe the limitations of all aircraft systems, ensuring their proper use and handling.
- Enforce the strict use of checklists throughout all flight phases.
- Guarantee sufficient usable fuel to reach an airport for a safe landing, with final reserve fuel remaining.
- Maintain close communication with the cabin crew to ensure compliance with all cabin safety requirements.
- Complete flight and technical logs accurately.
- Prepare written occurrence and accident reports as necessary.
- Maintain familiarity with relevant aviation regulations, JBJH/JBJS operations manual, and agreed aviation practices.
- Maintain a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a company representative.
- Comply with regulations outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Provide comprehensive passenger briefings on emergency exit locations and the operation of safety and emergency equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current on type BBJ NG / Max 8.
- FAA/EASA license preferred.
- Proven experience in private jet operations.
