The Role:
As a BBJ NG Captain, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of Boeing aircraft based in Hong Kong. Reporting directly to the Director of Flight Operations, you will be responsible for:
Responsibilities:
- Safety First: Upholding the highest standards of flight safety for all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard.
- Operational Excellence: Adhering to all operational procedures and checklists as outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Crew Management: Ensuring all crew members are in their designated positions during critical phases of flight, including take-off, initial climb, final approach, and landing.
- Flight Procedures: Strictly enforcing flight data and cockpit voice recorder protocols, ensuring data is only disabled or erased in the event of an incident or accident to facilitate investigation.
- Airmanship: Collaborating with the flight crew to optimize airmanship and achieve the most efficient and effective flight operations.
- Navigation and Altitude: Maintaining precise navigation and strict adherence to minimum altitude requirements.
- Aircraft Systems: Understanding and adhering to the limitations of all aircraft systems, ensuring proper utilization and handling of the aircraft.
- Checklist Enforcement: Stringently adhering to all checklists throughout the flight.
- Fuel Management: Ensuring adequate fuel reserves for safe landing at a designated airport, with final reserve fuel remaining.
- Cabin Coordination: Maintaining close communication with the cabin crew to ensure adherence to all cabin safety protocols.
- Flight Documentation: Completing all necessary flight and technical logs accurately and thoroughly.
- Reporting: Submitting written occurrence and accident reports as required.
- Compliance: Staying up-to-date on all relevant aviation regulations, including the JBJH/JBJS Operations Manual, agreed aviation practices, and Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Professionalism: Maintaining a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of Jet Aviation.
- Passenger Briefings: Ensuring all passengers are briefed on the location of emergency exits and the use of safety and emergency equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current on type BBJ NG / Max 8.
- FAA/EASA license is preferred.
- Proven experience in private jet operations.
