BBJ NG Captain (Hong Kong-based)
Jet Aviation, a global leader in aviation services, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled BBJ NG Captain to join our Flight Operations team in Hong Kong. As a BBJ NG Captain, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo while adhering to the highest standards of flight safety and operational procedures. You will play a vital role in providing our clients with a seamless and professional aviation experience. Reporting to the Director Flight Operations, you will specifically focus on Boeing fleets based in Hong Kong.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize Safety: Ensure the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard the aircraft.
- Adherence to Regulations: Strictly adhere to all operational procedures and checklists as outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Crew Management: Ensure all crew members occupy their stations prior to takeoff, final approach, and landing. Supervise crew activities during these critical phases, allowing only tasks essential for safe operation.
- Data Integrity: Maintain the integrity of flight data and cockpit voice recorder information, ensuring it is not disabled or erased unless required for accident or incident investigation.
- Flight Management: Coordinate crew workload effectively to maximize airmanship and ensure precise navigation and adherence to minimum altitudes.
- Aircraft Proficiency: Maintain a thorough understanding of all aircraft systems, ensuring their proper use and handling.
- Checklist Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to all checklists for every operation.
- Fuel Management: Ensure sufficient usable fuel remains to safely reach an airport with a safe landing and adequate final reserve fuel.
- Cabin Coordination: Maintain close communication with the cabin crew to ensure all cabin safety requirements are met.
- Documentation: Complete flight and technical logs accurately and efficiently.
- Incident Reporting: File written occurrence and accident reports as required.
- Aviation Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of relevant aviation regulations, the JBJH/JBJS operations manual, and established aviation practices to fulfill your role effectively.
- Professionalism: Uphold a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of Jet Aviation.
- Passenger Briefing: Ensure all passengers are briefed on emergency exit locations and the use of safety and emergency equipment.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Current on type BBJ NG / Max 8
- FAA/EASA license preferred
- Proven experience in Private Jet operations
