BBJ NG Captain (Hong Kong-based)
Jet Aviation, a global leader in aviation services since 1967, seeks a skilled and experienced BBJ NG Captain to join its Flight Operations team in Hong Kong. As an integral member of the team, the Captain will ensure the safe and efficient operation of Boeing aircraft based in Hong Kong, providing a high standard of service to our discerning clientele.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize and uphold the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard the aircraft.
- Adhere to all operational procedures and checklists outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Ensure all crew members are seated in their designated stations during critical phases of flight, including take-off, final approach, and landing.
- Prohibit any crew member from engaging in non-essential activities during take-off, initial climb, final approach, and landing, except those directly related to the safe operation of the aircraft.
- Maintain the integrity of flight data and cockpit voice recorder data, ensuring proper usage and safeguarding against unauthorized erasure.
- Coordinate work distribution within the flight crew, fostering a culture of good airmanship and teamwork.
- Ensure precise navigation and strict adherence to minimum altitudes.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of aircraft systems and their limitations, employing proper handling procedures.
- Enforce the strict use of checklists for all flight operations.
- Maintain sufficient fuel reserves to safely proceed to an alternate airport with adequate final reserve fuel.
- Maintain open communication with the cabin crew, ensuring compliance with all cabin safety protocols.
- Complete all flight and technical logs accurately and timely.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive occurrence and accident reports as necessary.
- Stay current with relevant aviation regulations, JBJH/JBJS operations manuals, and industry best practices.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism, discipline, conduct, and appearance as a company representative.
- Comply with all regulations outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Brief all passengers on the location of emergency exits and the use of safety and emergency equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current on type BBJ NG / Max 8.
- FAA/EASA license preferred.
- Experience operating private jets.
