As a Global XRS Captain, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers and crew, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and airmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard.
- Adhere strictly to operational procedures and checklists as outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Ensure all crew members are stationed prior to takeoff, final approach, and landing.
- Enforce a strict no-activity policy during takeoff, initial climb, final approach, and landing, except for duties essential to aircraft safety.
- Maintain the integrity of flight data and cockpit voice recorders, ensuring they are not disabled or erased unless necessary for incident or accident investigations.
- Coordinate workload distribution amongst the flight crew to maximize airmanship and ensure the smooth execution of the flight.
- Precisely navigate and maintain awareness of minimum altitudes.
- Adhere to the limitations of all aircraft systems and ensure their proper use and handling.
- Enforce the consistent use of checklists.
- Monitor fuel levels, ensuring sufficient remaining fuel to reach a safe landing airport with adequate final reserve fuel.
- Maintain close communication with the cabin crew to ensure adherence to all cabin safety protocols.
- Complete flight and technical logs accurately.
- File written occurrence and accident reports as required.
- Maintain familiarity with relevant aviation regulations, JBJH/JBJS operations manual, and agreed aviation practices to fulfill the role effectively.
- Uphold a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of Jet Aviation.
- Comply with regulations outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Ensure all passengers are briefed on the location of emergency exits and the proper use of safety and emergency equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current on type Bombardier Global XRS.
- Minimum 500 hours on type.
- AOC Operations experience.
- Willingness to relocate to Hong Kong.
