Position Overview
This position requires a skilled and experienced Bombardier Global XRS Captain who is passionate about aviation and dedicated to the highest safety standards. As a member of the flight crew, the Global XRS Captain will be responsible for:
Responsibilities
- Ensuring Safety: Prioritizing the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard the aircraft at all times.
- Operational Compliance: Strict adherence to all operational procedures and checklists outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Crew Management: Ensuring all crew members are in their designated positions during critical phases of flight (take-off, initial climb, final approach, and landing).
- Flight Safety Procedures: Enforcing a strict no-activity policy during critical phases of flight, except for duties required for the safe operation of the aircraft.
- Data Preservation: Prohibiting the disabling or erasing of flight data and/or cockpit voice recorder, unless data preservation is necessary for the investigation of an incident or accident.
- Crew Coordination: Effectively coordinating work distribution within the flight crew to maximize good airmanship throughout the flight.
- Precise Navigation: Maintaining precise navigation and ensuring strict observance of minimum altitudes.
- Aircraft Systems Management: Observing the limitations of all aircraft systems and ensuring their proper use and handling.
- Checklist Adherence: Enforcing the strict use of checklists throughout all phases of flight.
- Fuel Management: Ensuring sufficient usable fuel remains to proceed to a safe landing airport with final reserve fuel.
- Cabin Crew Coordination: Maintaining close contact with the cabin crew to ensure adherence to all cabin safety requirements.
- Log Maintenance: Completing flight and technical logs accurately.
- Occurrence Reporting: Filing written occurrence and accident reports as necessary.
- Aviation Regulations Knowledge: Maintaining familiarity with relevant aviation regulations, Jet Aviation Business Jets Hong Kong (JBJH)/Jet Aviation Business Jets Singapore (JBJS) Operations Manual, and agreed aviation practices.
- Professional Conduct: Maintaining a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of Jet Aviation.
- Compliance: Adhering to all regulations contained in the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Passenger Briefing: Ensuring all passengers are briefed on the location of emergency exits and the location and use of relevant safety and emergency equipment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Current on type Bombardier Global XRS.
- Minimum 500 hours on type.
- AOC Operation experience.
- Willingness to relocate to Hong Kong.
