Global XRS Captain (Hong Kong-based)
Jet Aviation, a leading provider of aviation services since 1967, is seeking a skilled and experienced Global XRS Captain to join its team in Hong Kong. As an integral part of Jet Aviation Business Jets (Hong Kong) Limited, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard the aircraft.
- Strictly adhere to operational procedures and checklists outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Ensure all crew members are at their designated stations prior to takeoff, final approach, and landing.
- Prohibit crew members from engaging in any activity during takeoff, initial climb, final approach, and landing except those essential for aircraft safety.
- Uphold the integrity of flight data and cockpit voice recordings, ensuring they are not disabled or erased unless required for incident or accident investigation.
- Coordinate work distribution amongst the flight crew, fostering optimal airmanship for a safe and successful flight.
- Maintain precise navigation and adherence to minimum altitude requirements.
- Observe the limitations of all aircraft systems and ensure proper aircraft use and handling.
- Enforce strict adherence to checklists.
- Monitor fuel levels, ensuring sufficient remaining fuel to reach a safe landing airport with adequate reserve fuel.
- Maintain constant communication with the cabin crew to guarantee compliance with cabin safety protocols.
- Complete flight and technical logs accurately.
- Prepare and submit written occurrence and accident reports as needed.
- Maintain familiarity with relevant aviation regulations, JBJH/JBJS operations manual, and accepted aviation practices to effectively fulfill the role.
- Maintain a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of Jet Aviation.
- Comply with the regulations outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Brief all passengers on the location of emergency exits and the proper use of safety and emergency equipment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current on type Bombardier Global XRS.
- Minimum 500 hours on type.
- AOC operational experience.
- Willingness to relocate to Hong Kong.
